In India where I live the most unusual restraint used is from pneumatic dairy machines. The computer inflates rubber rings to hold a cow in place but it actually works on a person. So you literally have a computer controlled the restraint (increasing as necessary). Although in Indian rural areas it has also been used for real punishment (nothing too severe). In India goats are common and so are goat gags, which normally fit on men. If its for punishment the goat gag wont be cleaned before going on. It isnt realy consensual but only happens once.
