I just finished writing out two awards for Marines that served with me during OIF. I feel really good now. They deserve recognition.

This is a very USMC oriented journal.

I am going to the Marine Corps Birthday Ball Saturday. That ought to be good. My third one. And my date is damn hot.

Friday of course is reserved for the Doc H.

By absent lurker I meant only on the site. I used to post and journal a little bit more. But for me this online place was only every a brief stop on the way to meeting and hanging with all these cool folks in person. I've always been there in the real life meetings, but I thought I could also put some time into hanging out online.

It was my pleasure to meet you and to give you a couch to crash on when you were up north. Have a ball at the ball and I'll see you next time.
