Long time since an update. I have been offline for more than a month. I just got the internet in the new apt. It is a good place, best place I've ever lived, really. Its a big 1BR on the third fl. with a great view of just tree tops. Very private. Doesn't feel like it is in town at all, altho it is. Its really a lovely place, and I am putting a lot of effort into organizing, decorating, and keeping things clean. This is the first time I have ever really done it right. I'm putting in the time, thought, and money that it takes.
I am very lucky to have this, and to have all this stuff to put into it. I'm grateful for this period of my life, which is like a second, or maybe third, chance for me. I want to honor the gift of my life by putting my best into my life and work, and the people I come in contact with. Its not all perfect, but I'm lucky to be here.

The keyboard position to the Greatful Dead is often refered as the "hot seat". This being cause of the dead losing Brent, Pig, and now Vince. Kinnda sucks this band has been through so much. Ratdog still plays out alot and Phil Lesh has his own band. They both have original songs and the usual Dead tunes they play. I wonder how this will effect both bands upcomming tours?
