Thought for the day: it is entirely possible to be a complete asshole without meaning to be one. I usually try to keep this in mind for myself, but I'm noticing a lot of people lately who don't seem to be aware of this.

We finally saw Up tonight. I cried the whole damn movie. I am such a wuss.

Merry Christmas everyone! I got a new beard trimmer, the New Super Mario Bros, Mario & Luigi Bowser's Inside Story, candy, money, a golden lucky cat, a batman shirt, DVDs of the Christopher Reeve Superman films, and some very very awesome sex. Now I am all worn out. Hope your Christmas is going even better than mine!

In a few short hours I will be on a plane to New Orleans! and then I'll be flying back 24 hours later. Feels like such a waste to spend so little time, but it's my brother's graduation and I have to return to work. Bleh.

I've just passed 19,000 words in my book. Still a long way to go, I need to be faster.

Sleep deprivation for the win! It seems like I can't type 3 words without horribly misspelling one of them these days, or adding words that don't need to be there, or omitting words that really should be there.

In my time away from SG, I've started writing the first draft of my novel. Hopefully it won't be absolutely terrible, but given how poor my typing...

I still function!

Hm. My subscription was apparently running out on the 8th... and I set it not to bill me, nor have I been billed... yet here it is on the 12th and I can still log in. That's a pleasant surprise

Woops! Looks like subscription renewal time is upon me and I'm a little shorter on funds right now than I'd like to be. Looks like I'll be gone from the site for a few weeks. I'll miss you guys! Hopefully I will return soon.

MY NEW PC ARRIVED!!! I have to wait until I get home from work to actually start setting it up, but I'm just soooooo relieved to have it here now. It's so pretty, I will have to post pictures after I get everything installed on it!

My computer died on me today. I've temporarily resurrected it using voodoo, but it's sort of a zombie at this point and sooner or later it will try to eat my brains.
