ok, a day and a half here in NY again and I'm reminded in lurid detail why I had to leave. I got so fed up listening to these quasi-wealthy self rightous long island fucks I wound up getting into a shouting contest with a geriatric jewish man in Staples. Maybe I've lost the thick skin I used to have in the 3 months I've been out of touch with my hometown, but I really think that suburban Queens and the north shore of Long Island have become nothing more than breeding grounds for asshat yuppie scum.
about a week ago my boss and I were having a theoretical conversation about how much good a doomsday type plague would do the world, you know, kill off 2/3 of everyone for the sake of sustainability. I think someone should make this pipedream of ours a reality, and spread it through Starbucks, I'm more or less certain it'd get all the right ones that way.
