I really need to get this off my chest. I am Sorry

Hey everyone, I posted this on Facebook and thought I would here as well. I feel a real strong need to do this for myself before I explode inside. If this offends you in anyway I am sorry, truly, but these ARE MY feelings in this matter. I do welcome comments both good and bad to have a discussion but please be warned. I have extremely strong feelings on this and quite honestly I am NOT very good with taking my thoughts and putting into words. So some of this may come off badly and please understand I dont mean it that way. Hugs to everyone and here is the rant:

You have every right here in Canada to protest. I have NO problem at all if you decide to protest something that you believe in strongly. Where i have a problem is when you go from a legal protest, to a illegal protest. When you disrupt, assault, blockade, regular citizens of the country, then you should be arrested and made to pay a price for that. You ARE breaking the law, BUT it seems our current weak government wont enforce those laws. So I think those laws need to be changed a bit. Here is what I think should happen:

If you protest legally here is what should happen to you in regards to the law:

NOTHING

If you protest illegally such as disrupt the community your in, assault people, destroy property, put up blockades so legal work cannot be done:

1. Arrested on the spot.
2. Removed from the area and taken to jail
3a. Fined 5000.00 (first time) and 5 days in jail automatically
3b. If your stupid enough to bring your child or children with you to protest and it is an illegal protest, then its a 5000.00 fine for each child and 5 days in jail for the parent(s)
4. If your stupid enough to go back after being in jail, then the fines go up 5000.00 and up 5 days in jail. So that means if your caught there the 2nd time its 10000.00 fine and 10 days in jail. And so on. And NO ONE is exempt from this!! If your a politician or a cook, or a tree planter or a fire fighter it is the same for everyone. Remember this is for ILLEGAL protesting.

NOW that is for Canadian citizens. For those wonderful and kooky people from other countries that come here and disrupt our system and participate in Illegal Protests here is what happens to you:

1. Arrested on the spot.
2. Removed from the area and taken to jail
3. Fined 5000.00 (first time) and 5 days in jail automatically
4. Deport from Canada after jail time.
5. 5 year ban from entering Canada
6. If your stupid enough to come back into Canada again and get caught at a illegal protest then its a 50000.00 fine and 1 year in jail. Then a ban for your life from entering Canada. NO EXCEPTIONS

Sounds unfair? TOUGH SHIT. This whole protesting and blockading and disrupting everyone's lives and the economy of Canada has to stop and stop now.

Its time to show these organizations that are from the States that they CANNOT keep fucking with Canada!
But but but Troy! The current protesting is for the hereditary chiefs of the Wet'Suwet'en opposition of the LNG pipeline. I call BULLSHIT on that! Now the protest in Northern BC is run by 1 of the hereditary chief, but the protests around Canada is all bullshit and should be immediately shut down and ALL people who are at the blockades should be arrested and jailed and the disruptions be done.

As for the Northern BC protest: you lost the court battles. Its time to pack up and let the LNG get going. If you decide to stay there and interrupt work then off to jail you go. There should be extra charges for you all there for creating the "widowmakers" and storing the tires and gas and setting up the traps. The police need to go in and arrest you all, while we can call in the military to sweep the roads and remove all your traps. You show back up and its off to jail you go right away for an extended time. Making these traps is akin to home grown terrorism and you should be delt with harshly.

As for protesters who are caught while assaulting someone, destroying property should be automatically jailed for 5 to 10 days if not longer. No more of this plea bargaining down sentences, or even getting out of jail for free. You break the law you NEED to pay for it.I am so sick and tired of these people being able to push Canada around and it needs to stop.

Again I fully support a LEGAL Protest! It IS YOUR RIGHT to protest. What I have a problem with is when you go from legal to illegal and break the laws and attack people. That must stop. I also have a problem with the jackasses from other countries pumping money and people into MY country to interrupt our economy. I have a simple message for those people and their supporters

GO FUCK YOURSELFS

ok so we will see if i get banned, or lose friends over this. Ranting like this is better than my other plan. Go to each and every blockade there is and rip them apart since the RCMP have no spine to enforce the laws and injunction orders.

@pointman11 not a problem i like having discussions and learning from others. its the people who want to bash me for my views be it political or other that i have problems with. At least with you we can discuss and exchange information and learn. Yes all 20 of the first nations have the support of their people. I believe the stat that I seen was it was around 80% support for the projects and 20% against the projects. Its the 20% that the 2 hereditary chiefs are using to try to stop the pipeline from being built. The have gone as far as to create "widowmakers" in the treeline and some other deadly traps to kill or at least maim workers, police who move in to do the work that was approved. Its crap like that, that really can get to a person you know. As for having the interest of the people I believe both the private company who is doing this project and the natives who are supporting it, have their interests for sure being looked after. The natives are going to get training, and on job training for their people, funds in for schooling for trades work and also for some people to look after the pumping stations, and the pipeline itself. Funds coming in to help the communities as well yearly royalties that will be coming in. The private company will obviously be making some money on this as well since they are the ones paying for it. It s going to be a good project and open up some markets in Asia as well which Canada needs badly. Not to be an ass but the feeling we get up here is America does NOT want us to have this pipeline as once we open a market in Asia, we will be in competition with America, hence why we have quite a few American organizations up here funding these so called "protesters".

I have no clue what people is protesting for, but when you pass from legal to illegale, your protest is automatically a failure, no excuses.
