Every time I hear the term "trickle down economics" I want to punch a politician. If looking back in history has showed me anything is that we never learn from our or others mistakes. Only after we fail as either we have before or as others have we say "well we should have known better." My only question with all the tax breaks given to those who are well off and raising taxes for those who live paycheck to paycheck. Something clicked I reminded me of a time I wasn't sleeping in history class. Does anyone remember the reason why our forefathers fought for freedom from a government that wasn't treating them fairly? I believe it went, "No taxation without representation." I don't feel like I'm being represented fairly. Is someone who is in the percentage that receives tax breaks really going to fight to make it fair or step aside as to not be kicked out of office? I say no, I do remember what happened when people where pushed to the edge of being able to afford to do something as eat. Paying rent, utilities, credit cards, student loans and maybe eat with the money that's left. I'm not in the tea party or anything but how can I trust those who are supposed to fight for my rights but instead help themselves and others like them. Okay I think today's venting is done.
