Another week, another hike. Back to usual stomping grounds. Wasn't quite into a long drive this morning and didn't feel like going up the side of a mountain, so I kept things rather close but with the ability to get some darker shots.

Maybe tomorrow I'll go someplace else. We'll see...

Last night we adventured around Manito in the evening and got lucky with the sunlight.

When someone you haven't talked to in years suddenly decides to show up out of the blue and pretend that everything can be the same as it was before.

Today, was an ordeal. Went out to Liberty Lake and did the loop trail which is about 9 miles and uphill for half of it. Started at about 6:30 in the morning and didn't get back to my car until 8 hours later. I'm still exhausted but ended up with a few decent photos for the day. Spent the morning catching the sunrise then driving around almost without any destination. Ended up at the cemetery near my house and did a little wandering around there as well.

It's been a rough week. Work hasn't been easy with multiple people taking vacations back to back. Lots of tension. Then the temperature has gotten up into the triple digits making the idea of doing anything outside impossible. Feeling burned out and worn down. Hoping that the next few days go better.
