it was september 6th and i was working in another office in my company. some guys kept playing table football in the 'breakout' (wanky hr term) area behind where i was hotdesking. my colleague janice who is a bit older than me asked me if i wanted a lift to my lawer and best friend stephen's goodby party as he was going to be md of the madeira office. so i grabbed my stuff and we went out to her place in a little village called cowroast and i drank huge amounts of white wine (now given up for lent). we then hopped on the train in another little village called tring and headed into london. i was wearing prada ankle boots, some all saints mariachi type all embroidered up but very tasteful with chinese flowers trousers and some tight shiny black lycra t shirt. little leather jacket so soft the leather feels like butter...

so we get to the bar, janice's husband has picked us up from train station in his merc. the bar is called dust and they are having some pop art exhibition about elvis called 'thank you very much' so we walk in and sit down at some big long table and i look up and the most gorgeous guy is sitting way down at the other end opposite me.

i ask janice who he is and his name is eddie and it turns out he's sent me an email to come to his birthday party the next day but i ignored it as i didn't know him. so he catches me smiling at him and smiles back and i'm in heaven. i know i'm going to have this guy even if he is with someone so i go talk to him.

turns out we have a load of the same circus freak friends and are going to the same wedding in 2 weeks time. he's got a date with a sword swallower and i've got some trendy little girl as my date. tell him i'm gay. then snog him. my friend liam sees and is so shocked i'm kissing a guy that he drops his beer and it goes everywhere. i grab eddie and head for a taxi and take him home and fuck him for 3 hours solid.

turns out he was the one that was playing table football while i was trying to work. he'd been trying to get my attention all afternoon...we've been together 6 months now...
