i couldn't sleep last night (as usual) so thought after i'd been awake an hour that i'd take a vicodin to help me sleep. well, it fucking numbed me but i was still wide awake and i layed around til after 4am when i finally drifted off for a bit, then woke up a few hours later noticeably less swollen.

yesterday it felt like my tits started at my collarbone, today at least its a few cm below.

the pain though does seem to be increasing, expecially on the right side where i had to have more of a lift. the nipple on that side had always been well below the left side (some of you may recall) - one of the main reasons for evening them out finally...and of course being right handed i'm putting more strain on that side - so am finding my latent ambi skills alot this morning...took the dressings off, showered and cleaned around the nipples completely with my left hand.

i'd taken a darvocet to get through this morning's shower and cleaning procedure but it barely made a dent in the pain.

i think i used more mind over matter in that hour than i have in my life as i didn't want to get too fucked up on painkillers because i still want to go recouperate with my friend that just had a hysto.

tomoro i'm taking vicadin before i even try to wash though...and who knows if i'll make it to the kid's audition with her...urgh! but it sounds like scootmikey has a plan to get me there safely involving the lovely little daniella and her eurovan and some lacma...

taking care of the incison though is all just like one big piercing when it comes to cleaning - lucky i know all about sterility and stuff from my years as a cosmetologist because the care sheet tells you the basics of what to do to care for the incisions but alot of people probably don't know about contamination the way i, and other people with body mods, do.

and speaking of the care sheet - my daughter read it and was apalled at all the typos on it and reckons if they can't spell then i should never have let them touch my tits...luckily i'd seen his work!

as the swelling goes down the pain seems to be coming up...3pm and i've just had to pop half a vicodin

spent most of today in bed - think i had an adrenalin crash finally! so much for my big plans to visit with shane today and lie watching tv together - have to see him next week instead when i'm not so drug dependant, lol...
