today i did the most humiliating thing ever but that is ok it turned out ok..
casino grrl really really wanted to go see siouxsie do a book launch at waterstones picadilly @ 7pm but didn't get off work until 8pm earliest, so i told her i'd go for her and get a book signed to her.

well i wasn't ready for a line all the way around the block and having to wait an hour and a half outdoors in london with the weather cooling off - i'm not built for this!

anyway - so i finally get in and budgie and siouxsie are there and i say hello and have them sign a book with casino grrl's name in it for her, then i ask them if they've worked with my x recently (dave harrow otherwise known as james hardway, formerly of psychic tv, jah wobble's invaders of the heart, and way too many other stuff to list - like producing ATR) and they siouxsie and budgie say no, but doug has = then point out a really good old friend of mine - who actually works with them and organised the whole launch - have to say - i was more excited about seeing him again than i was about meeting up with siouxsie...

then casino grrrl did finally show up as everyone was leaving and i got to introduce her to budgie but she got really shy around sioux...aw...wish that i felt that way about someone, but really, they are all just ppl like you and me aren't they???

so its not 12:30 in the a.m. soylent green is on tv. i just spent hours taking out my hair extensions and redying my hair black, so am sporting a very nice short dykey hairstyle right now, not for public consumption! casino grrl has gone on to the 333 as that is where doug (see above) is dj-ing tonight.

and i've just realised that i'm triple booked for next weekend. i've got brighton gay pride with casino grrl, bulldog bash with a pro wrestler, and sisters gig in crewe with vamp. i'm going to opt for brighton as that is my tradition...sorry to let everyone else down - unless of course any of you will be in brighton???
