am in o.c.
just got back from the hospital and manny is improving but not out of danger. i finally oudn out what happened. evidently he took a dive off the 2nd story walkway at hurricanes in huntington beach, not a motorbiek accident at i'd originally assumed when getting information transatlantically.
the families are getting alot of support and said that UCI medical centre had about 70 harleys outside at the weekend with ppl just hanging round waiting to hear how he was doing. also one of his clients drove up from san diego just to tell the family what an amazing guy manny is and then turned around and drove home...that is the way manny touched ppl and i hate to get my hopes up but i pray to every god available that there is some miracle that he might pull through this. the doctors are going to try to revive him from his coma next weekend to see the extent of the brain damage...
its almost 5am and i've only had about 7 hours sleep since saturday (alot of that thanks to the boy and our pe-flight hotel bootie call - seems inapprpriate to give my usual graphic detail in ths post, sorry). living on vodka and allergy medicine. i tried to eat at chomp today but they were closd for memorial day so i found a new place to go that did the best dynamite rolls i've ever had.
so i'm in o.c. with no car and no firm plans. days in the sun with my mom hopefully and nights at the hospital maybe. if you have my 714 number feel free to call at a reasonable hour as not everyone here is a vampire like me...
look forward to f2f's while i'm here!

It was so great to finally meet you in person.
It is really late, and I am out of it, so I will cease with a few wet ones...
good night, and see you soon I hope...
