I got my recliner that will be my bed for the next month or so, I pick up my crutches and other recovery items today AND I get my presurgery covid (rapid result) test today. But guess what? I still dont know what time surgery is on friday!

Sending you lots of positive vibes! I'm sure your surgery will go just fine, you are in excellent hands with very competent doctors! Take a few deep breath and the anxiety will ease. Nice that your parents will be there when you recover the first few days. I had a little oral surgery last Friday. It was tougher than expected. My doctor said that "I brought here a good one". She even asked if I want to take a break. I signaled to get it done as fast as she can. Afterwards I was thinking may she needed a break. Oh well. For the first time I felt I needed to lay down after a procedure, I was exhausted. Wish you all the best, good success and those Legos sound awesome! Recover quickly, so you can build them soon!

Still plugging away at getting ready for surgery and trying to get as much school done as possible. How kind of all 3 of my professors to tell me I could work ahead....because that's what I need the week before surgery....to be cramming school work and stress in

Oh, that's a pretty desert and I'm sure it was tasty too! You certainly deserved it after all the hard work you are putting in form school! I love it. Last year I discovered my extra passport photo fit perfectly over my coworker in his family pic. Took him over a month to notice.

Thank you @littlejohn22 @big_n3rd and @stcyr! I think its gonna be less of a thing than shoulder surgery shorter actual operation,just the hobbling around will be a little worse. Send entertainment and good vibes!

@big_n3rd I was reminded of it because of a Mark Henry and Bubba Ray Dudley conversation. Today was banana and skim milk day. Just testing it for a week. You can argue that all you want...but photoshop ;) I just needed something because I can't do any of my usual exercises with this hip pain....

But at least I smell amazing and am soooooooo silly smooth. Who just dumped 3oz of cocoa butter and 3 oz of shea butter in their bath? You guessed it

But I'm not sure I could make life imitate art much more between this bath and and a previous commission from @nerdmachine.


The wasabi fragrance oil and green pigment at least went really well together

This looks very surreal but relaxing. What's the residual left on the tub afterwards? When I was little I soaped up the tub and "skated". This didn't end well. All I wanted for Christmas was my 2 front teeth...

The best workout advice I have is that you should try to do a mix of exercise that doesn't hurt your hip. Lifting weights for example will help on burning calories and it'll burn from everywhere. This is my 6th week of working from home. I'm super busy as there are many projects going on in parallel. I have to watch out to still have a bit of outdoor time to catch some fresh air and get in some walking. Working from home isn't as easy as I imagined. I miss all the short breaks where I can go talk to my colleagues or just walk around the office to get a cup of tea or an espresso in the afternoon. Let's hope it'll continue well and we will soon see a flattening of cases in the Washington, DC area. Right now it is predicted to reach the peak end of June! Wish you the very best and I'm sure you'll master school in addition to work!
