24 weeks today, so weird/awesome to see the little kicks bouncing Mir's tummy around.

16 short weeks until she takes back all those nice things she says about me.

I've recently become the owner of a somewhat aged Mamiya C220. A twin lens reflex, medium format, school photo day looking sort of rig.

Nothing automated on it, each exposure takes some time and thought to compose, which makes each of those big 6x6 negatives all the more rewarding when they come back from the lab.

So our station was moved to the provincial psych hospital. The place has been there about 100 years. Some of the buildings have a great gothic architectural look that would make for wonderful photo settings...

...too bad they're full of asbestos.
