Hello SG land!
I was totally nervous as fuck today because I had to get my one and only wisdom tooth pulled because it had a cavity on it. I never have had a tooth pulled nor have I ever had a cavity, so in a way I lucked out that I had a cavity on a tooth that needed to be pulled anyway. It was erupted (showing through the gums) and coming in fine..., like I said, only problem was the cavity. It was at the top so I was told I was pretty lucky to have it come in the way it did. Thank god!
I opted with nitrous oxide to help calm my nerves a bit but even before I got that the nurse took my blood pressure and woo! The highest was 165/101 (I was nervous and scared shitless). But as I expected, I got myself hyped up over nothing. I only felt pressure and heard the tooth come out (which was a little unpleasant). But as I told the doc, make it quick painless and easy. I think it only took him 5 minutes if that... even the nurse said it was really quick! So now I am anticipating dealing with the pain after as the numbing stuff wears off. But they make meds for that so that will hopefully help. See my pics below of my wisdom tooth removal and my wisdom tooth (I asked to keep it as it was the only wisdom I had lol).
