I haven't been posting up any blog homework recently so here is a new blog homework!
I absolutely hate being sick! Especially with a cold and feeling nauseous is one of the absolute worst feelings. When I am feeling sick though, my comfort foods tend to be chicken noodle soup. It's warm, tasty and filling. It makes me feel better instantly and I feel like the more I have, the faster I will recoup from my illness
If I am nauseous I tend to eat crackers. The only problem with nausea is I never feel like eating anything....which isn't good! I will usually drink warm tea if I have a cold or nausea to help me feel better as well. I will try to drink chamomile tea to ease an upset stomach.
When I think about being sick, as in having a cold, I always remember Vicks Vapo-rub and dimetapp. Dimetapp works like a charm for me at night in terms of knocking my ass out so I can at least sleep halfway decent and breathe (plus it has a very palatable flavor to me so it is easier to take!). Vicks would work sometimes but I think I like the smell of vicks more than anything lol.
I try to avoid getting sick but it is unfortunately inevitable that we all will get a cold or stomach virus at some point in the year! Here is to a healthy 2019!
