I'm delayed in this blog homework! However here are some customer service nightmares I have encountered:
@missy @rambo
* I used to work at a retail store (that is somewhat painful in and of itself) as a cashier. There were times when items were the lowest cost they would ever be (red ticket prices). One time I had a customer come up to my register with a bunch of clothing items (mainly underwear). I scanned each item. If it wasn't $1.00, they didn't want it (some items were only $2.00...and the underwear was normally about $15!). I so badly wanted to tell the customer "really? It's only $1 more!" however, I had to bite my tongue and remove and set aside the unwanted item.
* Whenever I have to contact customer service on the phone and it is automated. The choices given never match up to why I am calling and some things go on forever for options to hit. Then, when I finally do get ahold of someone, I have to repeat everything all over again anyways!
* When you provide what you think is superior and proper customer service to someone, and people complain anyway...and then your job doesn't back you :(
* When you go to a store and employees just flat out ignore you (or look at you like you shouldn't be or aren't good enough to be in a certain store)
I'm sure I'm missing some but these really stood out!
