hmmmmmm....... not much going on in my little corner of the internets this evening. just woke up, bored.
i got a little more work done on my tattoo today. it was a short appointment. i was running late because there was a car wreck. so, my ride had to wait until it was cleared. but, so far so good, only got the blues done on that section. for some reason, i welted up something fierce. if he had done the purple, it would have sucked, big time. next appointment is on the 28th. four hours! wahoo! bummed i have to wait, but i don't really mind, my artist is a busy guy.
i'm scheduled to start a new job on the 7th. it sucks that it's so far off, i hate not having stable income, but it's a job, and that's a good thing. it's a customer service position that close to my house, and i get to have my hair blue, and not have to worry about hiding ink or piercings. i don't like uptight dress codes. so, we'll see how this goes. i can't wait to start getting all the fun stuff i've been wanting.... video camera, pocket rockets, maybe a new mountainboard, and clothes! weeee! after bills are paid, of course, and still stashing a little bit aside in case something goes wrong with the jeep, but at this point, i'm saying 'screw it', and i'm going to splurge and get new toys. i've always done the responsible young adult thing, and did what was practical. now, it's time for me to have some fun!
it's been an ok weekend, so far. during the week was better, i kidnapped my lover for afew days. i greatly enjoy his company, so that was nice, even though i was all kinds of hormonally unbalanced (monthly issue). lol.
tomorrows (today? since it's midnight thirty-ish) plans consist of possibly hiking, which will be great. but that's still up in the air. my fingers are crossed.
other than that, not much has been going on, well, there's lots going on, but not directly involving me. friends are engaged, and one couple is expecting. i'm going to be an 'aunt'! lol. so, i'm helping plan weddings and all that fun stuff. unfortunately, i might not get to go to my brother's wedding in august. it's in alabama and would be 400 round trip for one person. plus hotel and rental car for the weekend. plus my companion's plane ticket. after doing the math, it would cost about the same to take a road trip and just drive down. it's only twelve hours. but, it's not looking good. plus, i might have to work. i don't really like weddings, plus it'd be hot as hell down there. so not going is a little bit of a relief. especially since i hate the majority of my family, he and my sister are the only ones i really get along with. my oldest brother is a waste of human skin, and a complete prick. but the one getting married is awesome. he's one of my heroes. because he pursued his dream. even though our dad beat him down, mentally and physically and called him gay(even though he's not. our dad is a prejudice fuck) and beat the living hell out of him, he still did what he loved. and i am so proud of him. he is a dancer, by the way. he was up there in the top people in the country when he was competing. and now he teaches ball room dance. i am so proud of him, and happy that he found someone that is right for him. she's a wonderful chickie.
in other news, we should be shooting my hopefuls set in august, when my photographer gets back from california. yay! so, we'll have to wait and see how it turns out.
