ok so apparently my phone has been all out of whack lately and my car loan company has been calling trying to reach me about a few payments i have missed about a year and a half ago when the ex-gf left me, and i got stuck with the rent and bills at my last place. well back then i had to choose, a roof over my head, or miss 2 or 3 car payments.
so i finally get my phone working, can call the loan company. they tell me that since i missed the window to contact them, they have no choice to repo my car. apparently even a repo guy has tried to find the damn thing already. so i need to come up with $2200 to settle this right now or kiss my car goodbye. more like as soon as the repo guy finds the car i kiss it goodbye whether i pay or not before then. i have some cash, but still am about $1500 shy.
i tried to explain to these bastards that i dont get paid much, and the past reason why i got behind in the first place more than a year ago. so i called them today and talked again. explained how i live in the middle of nowhere and without a car i cant work, since theres no public transport, and if i dont work i cant pay anything. they pretty much said that i missed the chance to do anything. and its all my fault that the local cable company couldnt fix my damn phone for the past month. i have literally 35 voicemails that i just got access to.
i guess working 18 hours a day for the past year hasnt been enough to make any money. jobs out here suck and they pay like shit. i cant go begging to my parents either cuz they are in just a bad a shape as me with shit jobs. they make no where near what they used to in NY, so they cant even help me out.

I am sure you did, but did you keep trying to go up the ladder with the people you spoke to? You know ask for each person's manager? I know that is annoying, but i find that the people on the top are the ones who can make things happen.
