The blank canvas of an herb spiral I shared in March is full of color, fragrance and flavors!

Found about a half dozen of these guys/gals on my bronze fennel plant this evening. If all goes well they'll turn into Black Swallowtails in the not too distant future. :-)

I finished building this herb spiral bed today. Will be planting it over the next couple weeks. It is right outside the back door- so will be very handy for fresh herbs once I get them planted and established.

Sigh. I didn't realize my post from yesterday would be predictive. Thank you Roger- your music and vocals always made me smile and feel better. RIP
