Had a chance to meet one of my all-time favorite musician and artist last night in Durham. Todd Rundgren is on tour with Utopia featuring 3 of the 4 members- Todd, Kasim Sulton and Willie Wilcox. The new member is Gil Assayas- an amazing young keyboard wizard! Todd has had an amazing career- always evolving- willing to explore multiple creative directions, collaborations and vehicles- and do it with real soul. And the show was full on Utopia- 7 album retrospective . Totally awesome!
