Allow me a brief rant on a trend I am seeing more and more of and which I personally think is the antithesis of what this site is (or was) about. This is for all the hopefuls as well as the staff (@missy, @lyxzen etc.) The most recent example is @foxilla. Beautiful lady. She has had 4 sets of the day since last Feb. She has nearly 6000 followers. And she follows EXACTLY 2 people. Her photographer and her SG agent. No blog posts. Belongs to no Groups. A couple of selfies the most recent of which was posted last June. This is nothing personal and she may be a delightful individual, but she is NOT part of this community. She is a decoration at best. She has not become involved in any other aspect of SG. Why should I give her any of my attention? Maybe I'm a cranky old timer who has been on this site 13 years, but you know it is true. If you aren't giving anything to the community other than your vanity shots, why should I give you any of my precious attention? There are plenty of other SG hopefuls trying a lot harder than you are and I'd rather spend my limited time with them. And that's my rant. :-)
