I'm supposed to pass this on....I dunno....I'll have to get back to you on that.
1.I was born and raised in the South, but dont have a southern accent.
2.I am Swedish. Moms Dad came to this country when he was 19. By himself. Made a life for himself. Pretty damn amazing.
3.My Dad was born in Brooklyn.
4.I lived in Munich for almost 1 year in the 80s.
5.My first car was a 1969 Saab 96. Talk about a bitchin ride.
6.My second car was a 1971 Triumph GT6. Truly bitchin.
7.I worked for a year at the Pentagon. Talk about a dump of a building. But nearly 30,000 people work there- bigger than plenty of towns.
8.My first dog was a Border Collie named Samson. Actually, Mom & Dad got him before I was born. He used to watch me and keep me out of the street by pulling me back by the diaper.
9.I lived in Memphis when MLK was shot. I learned what martial law meant and what imposed curfews where when I was 8 years old.
10.I voted Libertarian in the 1980 election. It is my fault Reagan was elected.
11.I met Dick Smothers at the grocery store once. He autographed a bottle of wine he was pitching.
12.I have never been to Asia, but Tokyo, Seoul, Saigon, Bangkok, Hong Kong, etc. fascinate me.
13.Through thick and thin, since 1969, the Atlanta Braves are my team.
14.I love to bake Christmas cookies and bread. I have all my moms recipes.
15.I love to cook Asian, Indian and Italian.
16.I want a bigger garden. Actually, a small farm would be nice.
17.The Georgia Satellites, originally the Satellites, where my Monday night regular band in the early 80s at Hedgens in Atlanta.
18.I am a packrat. I have collections of lots of things.
19.Im blessed with 2 wonderful sons and my wife of 19 years. (not really a random fact)
20.The 1996 Olympics in Atlanta were one of the my most amazing times of my life. We were fortunate to live there and partake in a 20 day party with the world.
