Right, 90% of fights will end in grappling, it is the most useful skill you will learn. Seriously, straight blast. Throws i would say are alot less useful. Boxing is ALWAYS goos though. Good for exercise, good for fights, good for toning. It should ber paired with yoga though. Keep you limber, help with focus.

I've got some things I need to deal with, but everyone I've known that has had counseling ended up on drugs. I'm really against that for me. Got it. Neither of my parents went to medical school, can't prescribe drugs. Most Psychologists work with Psychiatrists, and in instances of extreme mental dysfunctional will refer to them for prescriptions. Six Feet Under is the only one of the big HBO shows I don't watch, and with the extent I love the Sopranos, Curb Your Enthiuasm, and Deadwood I think I should see it.

I had a bad experience in therapy, but my therapist was incompetent. She had me put me on meds ASAP (the wrong ones, no less), misdiagnosed me, and was simply not a very bright lady. Most of our sessions were spent with me trying to get her to drop the "caring professional" demeanor.
The rest of my friends who have been in therapy (most of them), highly recommend it and have almost convinced me to give it a second chance. A good therapist will listen to your concerns and not pressure you to take meds. A good therapist will also have an IQ greater than that of the average potato.
