Today I am baking. Baking pumpkin pie squares from a recipe that I got in the mail from Loaves and Fishes. I get all kinds of charity junk mail. I gave some money to ASPCA when I had a little and now they all think I'm an easy mark. I can't afford to give away money, and I don't feel guilty for using the stuff they send me. I haven't had to fill out my address on a letter in a few years.

Anyway, this pumpkin pie squares deal is a new thing for me. The only item I know how to bake is a really good apple cake, but I lost the recipe for that somewhere. And I'm sure everyone is sick of me and my apple cake that I bring to every function. Trying new things, that's me. Next thing you know I'll be dating guys.
