Alright mate just read your comment bout cruise ships and Sound Engineering because I'm failing miserably trying to get a job through the normal route as a runner, or anything else as that matter. If you could forward us information mate I would very much appreciate it. Cos at the moment getting an In is proving a bit difficult. On a personal note I've never thought mint and chocolate go!

Cheers mate.

i need to find a new job.
i'm thinking of applying for work on a cruise ship, as a sound technician so i can get away for a a year and work out what i want to do with my life. i'll get to meet new people and get work experience as well as a fat long holiday!
jerry_coke:
Hey, just saw your reply to my comment in your last journal entry. Flat pack instructions are always shit. To think, someone gets PAID to DESIGN the bloody instructions! Madness.

For future reference, you reply to me in my journal, I reply to you in yours. That's one of the reasons nothing seems to make sense. wink

You know the kind of people that spend a lot of time on cruise ships? Old people. You like old people don't you sonny? Here, have a Werther's original...

jerry_coke:
You made it? Or you assembled it?
bskyb:
technically i assembled it but the instructions were so shit, i practically rebuilt it.

i'm in for some serious demoralisation on friday. As i mentioned in an earlier post, i did this hugely diffcult 32,000 word report on Mastering. Turns out i may have to demonstrate it to one of the UK's best selling msuic magazine editors, who, having written a book on mastering is quite likely to shit all over it. And then the public gets to come...

You should have seen her
She was the sound of elation
A delicate crystal
Beauty underrated
Near misses and hellos
The most beautiful station
A kiss to a century
Of loves wasted waiting

and then she left the room. forever.
