...and I was right. It totally wouldn't've been worth brushing my teeth going out tonight. It's like every girl to treat me like shit and evry asshole I know in the city all decided to show up at the same bar tonight. If it weren't for the fact the guy who let me stay at his place in Oakland last summer was in town, I never would have left my house this evening.

BTW, I think I''ve proven, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that there is no such thing as karma. As I was filling my tank with gas earlier this evening, this young girl, maybe in her late teens-to-early-twenties, comes up and asks me for a few bucks so she can fill up her tank just enough to get back home to the suburbs. Now I know she was probably full of shit - she probably just used the five I gave her to pay off her pimp or score some dope or something - but if there was even a shred of truth in what she was saying, I just couldn't let her freeze her ass off in this freezing cold Chicago weather. If karma did exist, instead of being reminded that everyone I wasn't already \ friends with in thi city are the only ones worth really knowing, I would've gotten some cute girls digits or laid or something, but things happening the way they did, I've concluded that there is absolutely no such thing whatsoever. Sorry to blow a hole through your faith, guys.
