I've been feeling socially awkward lately. Any more, I "come alive" over emails, but am stoic and silent in person. I always seem to be pre-occupied...perhaps I am. I don't even know why I started this entry, cuz I have nothing else to say.
solveig:
I'm antisocial, it's not because I want to, I guess there is something about me that make people take distance, I spent 4 months going everyday to my classes and never talked to anyone there frown it's kind of sad.

My internal clock is so F'd up right now. I got back from my trip about 4pm on Friday and tried to keep myself up as long as possible, as I was already crashing (bedtime in Germany). I ended up dozing off about 9pm and sleeping until 11am Saturday. Unfortunately, I was tired all day and wide awake all last night. Ugh...must stay awake. I'll...

I'm jealous! I was only in Berlin briefly, but Germany was fucking incredible. Everyone under 30 had at least one facial piercing, I think it was a law. And the women were SO HOT.

You're also lucky to be in a position to go to SGSF events! My mom lives out there, maybe one of these days I'll crash a party. smile
solveig:
I only travel because both of my parents live far away from where I'm living. One is in my same country but in another state , and my mom is in Mexico.
I need to have that philosophy on anger because I would end up crazy otherwise. I paid the whole thing that I really didn't have to pay because it was their mistake, but if they would have taken legal actions it would be worse. I can't fight a huge health insure corporation, and I can't pay a lawyer, so... better to be in debt with my uncle that with them!

I'm finally back from my week-long trip to Germany. It was a good time, but I'm totally drained right now. Flight there and back were 12 hours of sheer torture. If it wasn't bratty kids, it was people elbowing my in the ribs. Sleep is pretty much impossible. I'm too drained to recap the sights now, but I'll surely do it this weekend. Interesting place....

I have a very expressive face, so I've been told. I have many variations of my face (as you will find out). I can never have a poker face. I just can't. Even when I'm trying my hardest, emotion seeps out as well as personality. I see it as a blessing nonetheless. smile

I should really update more often, but I have been tired all week. Sleeping poorly...and I feel queasy from some bad Chinese food I had a few days ago. Tomorrow night, I get on a plane headed for Germany. I'll be there a week on business. It's my first time to continental Europe, so I'm excited...I even bought a new camera and I don't even...

Been a pretty good week I guess. I finally got out and bought my cat a new Ultra Mega Turbo Litter 3000 or some such and some cat furniture for her to play in/on. My roommate and I still haven't successfully gotten them to meet. My cat still just growls and hisses at the new guy. Ah well.

Been thinking a lot about the future....

What have I been up to? Hmmmmmm... I took a day trip to Florida last week on business. I had the worst luck with my flights, but the actual "business" part of it was okay. Over the weekend, I went to a friend's baby shower...it still blows my mind that they are having a kid. I don't know why it should..they're both about 30 or...

Well...my roommate and I tried to introduce our cats last night. His is a 4 month old male that he just brought home from the shelter a few days ago. Mine is a 4 year old female, who has never encountered another animal since she was a kitten. We read the guides and did the whole separation and slow introduction steps like covering towels with...

The past few days have been rewarding. Dinner on Friday was great...we ate SOOOO much food. The owner of the sushi place was even sending us free stuff. biggrin We planned to drink more sake, but just ended up splitting 1 large bottle...I guess it was more about the food and company.

Saturday was spent at the animal shelter helping my roommate pick out a cat...it's...

I have to go into work early today...ugh. It's just my luck that the only day in 2 weeks I was sleeping REALLY well, I had to get up. Another couple of hours, and I may have said I feel good. Now I'm just running on fumes as usual. People tell me I should see a doctor for my sleeping problems, but all they're gonna...

Man, I know how you feel. Sometimes melatonin helps. My latest trick is an eye mask, which helps me lately despite making me look like a 19th century French prostitute.

Other than being sick and sleeping like crap all week, it's been fairly nice. The weather lately has been disgustingly hot...I guess if I could wear shorts and a t-shirt all day and hang at the beach, it would be gorgeous, but having to dress presentably and hang around indoors makes it suck. smile

One thing to look forward to..."spare the air" days for SF Bay...
