*Grump* Had to wake up at 5:30am to get ready for a job interview today. I suppse I could have slept in, but I need to go through my morning ritual of surfing the net and drinking a pot of coffee. If I don't, bad things happen to nice people.
This job is not quite so interesting as the one I interviewed for last week, but is still rewarding in its own right. It's production work, but more on the fringe of the industry. Pros are I can learn some new things...cons are I won't be plugged in to what I consider my primary industry. PLus there's the 2 hour commute time (each way) and the $400/month public transportation costs.
The other job seems like it's mine to turn down, but there's a huge trade show this week so everyone who has equity in the decision to bring me on is out of town. Bad timing.
I'm so far behind on entertainment, it's gonna break the bank just to catch up. One of my first purchases as a fully-employed producer is going to be an espresso machine -- a nice one too! Then I have like 10 DVD's and 5 games I wanna buy. Oh and 5 or so CD's.... The sacrifices I make...
Well, it's about time I start actually getting dressed. I have to be out the door within an hour and I'm moving at a snail's pace. Goddam cat kept me up half the night, so I'm running on about 2 hours of sleep to make it worse. I'm a shining star though...yeah...and it all comes natural-like. Yeah...that's it...that's the ticket!
