No juice today, I'm afraid. My computer is acting up, so I'm having trouble doing even simple things, such as surf the net. This being said, I've been forced to endure the horrors of cable TV. I'm glad that my roommate foots the bill for it. I live 10 years without watching any TV, so I wouldn't miss it if it were gone.

I need to buy some books for these emergencies. It seems like so long since I've read anything of value...mostly just brain candy and various technical manuals. I can't reread books for some reason...even my favorites. I'll start reading something like Wuthering Heights, which I first read in high school about 13 years ago, and after a few words...it all comes back. I mean, it's like something unlocks in my brain and I already know the whole book beginning to end...no need to read it again. smile

That gets me to thinking about how my own brain works. I'm admittedly forgetful, though I do have the ability to put my brain on "record" or "play", providing I have some sort of contextual catalyst. I.e. a pnemonic or "key" that unlocks a certain situation. Sometimes, a mere word, reference, or object will cause me to remember an entire situation or conversation from years ago. I can't remember what it is that I have stored, but I know everything I've seen, heard, or done...even thought...is stored somewhere. Just need to figure out how to get it out...for what reason, I don't know.

Lying in bed at night, trying to unlock old memories keeps me up. Chances are that most things are worth forgetting. Bah, I'm rambling now.
