...at our house. Its supposed to let up later on but I have a feeling this rain soaked All Hallow's Eve is over before it even began. Oh well, at least my car (The red Firebird) is getting something of a badly needed bath.
I guess I shouldn't let my nuts get too tweaked since I don't even have a costume to wear. I mean I have costumes but they are all designed to be worn indoors or during warm Summer days at anime/comic conventions. Not real good for cold autumn evenings walking up and down the street. I was going to remake my Grifter armor but I never got around to it. hat will have to wait for Big Wow Comic fest I think. Maybe Wondercon if we can actually make it down there next year.
Halloween is normally my favorite time of the year but this year has been anything but festive. My wife and I have been battling depression, fighting and otherwise just feeling really shitty. It all came to a head last time we talked when I told you that we were just two steps from splitsville. Thankfully the two weeks since then have much, much better. In fact my lady love got herself a job! I'm really proud of her, she got two interviews in less than a week and nailed the first one as soon as she walked in. Well they hired everybody but its a part time gig, its literally right across the street from our apartment and it pays pretty decent. My lady should be able to bring home some decent coin without having to kill herself to do it which is nice. We've got too much fucking stress already.
And speaking of fucking we've been doing a lot of that as well. Not to brag but we managed to get in two sessions in one day. haven't done that in a VERY long time. :) Happy couple is happy.
