I was going to post a couple of new comic pages but my scanner suddenly went belly up. Its an easy but expensive fix because we have one of those all-in-one printer/scanner/copier/sex doll type things and it refuses to work unless the color cartridge is replaced. Not even the scanner will work which fucking blows. I think its high time I finally buy my own flat bed scanner, especially since I almost never print anything. My wife does all the printing I just use the scanner and the scanner quite frankly is a little small for my pages. For now all I can do is draw the pages and ink them then set them aside for the long agonizing wait for my paycheck to show up so I can replace the damn cartridge.
Fanime is fast approaching and we finally got our cosplays decided. Well my wife and my daughter did I, on the other hand am stuck between one cosplay and one crossplay, both original characters.
My wife is going to cosplay as Lady Sakuya
and my daughter is going to cosplay as Yui:
I am either going to cosplay as a female Spriggan or a male Sylph or possibly both if we can borrow a friend's hotel closet to store our cosplays. Yes, we all love Sword Art Online very much and we wanted to cosplay as a family so it was a no-brainer for us. I also want to cosplay as Grifter again but a new version different than what I cosplayed last year. This time I want to try and duplicate the original WildC.A.T.S. version as much as I can.
Not sure I'll wear the long coat but he didn't always wear the coat in the comics anyway so I'm not worried about it. Its going to be a hot day I'm sure (Its always hot in Downtown San Jose in Spring) so I want to try and wear as cool a cosplay as I can all three days. My wife and daughter will most likely wear their cosplays all three days while I would like to switch it up a little. Don't worry, lots of pictures will be taken. I may even try to shoot a con vlog. We'll see what happens.
