Dad comes home tomorrow. At least we're pretty sure he will. They want to run one more test on him but they've already done a sonagram, MRI, blood oxygen test, Lung pressure test, EKG and electrocartiogramcyphalogramthingie so I'm not sure what else they could test him on that doesn't involve math or grammer. Hopefully math, he was always good at math.
I told him no more drinking and he took the first step but doesn't seem to want to go beyond that. He and I argued about it but I'm putting my foot down. I'm not happy about it and I'm not looking forward to helping him dry out but it's for his own good. He either gives up the sauce or finds another place to live. I don't want my daughter being exposed to it anymore.
As for hockey I can NOT wait to get back in front of the net. Going to be tough without a car though because i have no real way of getting to practice. The best I can do is read my book and try to remember what I read when i hit the rink again. I did really well last game so I figure if I can keep up that level of performance my defense can take care of the rest. We had a HUGE improvement from game one to game two and we're all really inspired by that. I just want to ride that wave through the rest of this season and the playoffs. My first win is right around the corner I can feel it!
We're making plans to pick up our new/old car by the end of this week. The money picnh is going to hurt but we need this car so we can get my daughter to and fro. Plus it's a Honda Civic so it'll run forever and get great gas mileage. It's also an EX with a bulletproof 1.6L engine that has a list of bolt-on mods for it longer than the quatermile dragstrip i want to race it on. You didn't seriously think I was going to leave this thing alone did you?
