Holy fucknuts am I sore. You guessed right I had a hockey game last night. After last week I had something to prove and I went out there on a mission. I proved it despite loosing 4-2. The score was 2-2 until the last five minutes of the game when the other team scored two goals in less than two minutes. One of those goals was while we were on the penalty kill and the other was a perfect across the crease pass to a wide open skater. Two of us dove for the puck but it was already in the air. Nothing we could do about it. By game's end I had 18 saves and numerous shots we sent wide trying to get passed me. I stopped pussy footing around out there and started playing these guys aggresively and it worked! I stopped just about everything they threw at me including a 3 on 1! Two 1 on none breakaways also resulted in no score. Twice we almost had shorhanded goals and one scramble in front of the net came within inches of tying the score 3-3. My team is brand new and most of them haven't played since high school two to three years ago. The growing pains are slowly going away though. This team could be a serious contender in a season or two and I intend to be blocking the net for them the whole way.
