I love the thrill of the chase, but at some point you have to ask yourself just how long you're willing to pursue someone. I can't wait around for this guy to get his shit in gear. I have other prospects I could be exploring.

What is so appealing about the complicated ones, anyway?

I think in this case, this guy isn't worth my torment. Sure, he's actually more intelligent than me and has his financial shit together, but his ex gf is a heroin addict, and he's only going to come around when she's completely out of the picture. Who knows when that's going to be, considering he feels that he's obligated to help her since he put her through so much distress.

I don't know... I'm going out to the club tonight. Maybe I'll find a nice girl to melt my worries away.
