Just started watching Trinity Blood. It's interesting but it seems like its trying to hard to be Hellsing. I also keep wondering if they will ever introduce secondary characters that play any part in the story past their initial episode. I noticed several voice actors who were in Full Metal Alchemist as well and it is somewhat distracting. So far I am not overly impressed but I seem to keep watching, even though it's probably out of curiosity or the hope of a more engaging story, at least I haven't turned it off yet.

Yeah the original Al is the same voice as Ion in TB. It does have an odd start to a sereis I thought but it gets interesting later on.

I actually thought the start was pretty interesting by itself but when I saw the priest "morph" into basically a vampire I thought "Okay Alucard, let's stay in our own series." Nightroad even does the same kind of chant to "activate" his abilities. In a nerdy kind of way though I started to think of what a crossover would be like. Even if TB doesn't hold a candle to Hellsing it would still be pretty badass.
