Will probably be moving to Raleigh in the next couple of months. I am already starting to look for jobs in the area.

Fitness Update:

I have been working out regularly for the past few weeks and started adding supplementary exercises. I started out with just boxing and skating; I added jumping jacks as a warm up and am mixing it up with speed walking/jogging with weights on each leg. Also I am doing shadow boxing, push-ups, and wrist rolls on boxing days and bicycle crunches and...

Just came back from my sisters place for some Texas Holdem with 8 other people. Damn that was fun, I did much better than I thought I would but my sis ended up winning. While I was there we did some yard sale shopping and I picked myself up an electric guitar. It didn't come with anything so when I go out to see...

Felt like buying a movie through the Playstation Network but 20 bucks for a 1930s movie in HD seemed a bit much so I went with something cheaper. I downloaded MirrorMask and have been watching it nearly constantly for the past week. I like how it actually tells you how many times it's been played, in this case, almost 20 already. This movie has...

Another nostalgic movie I watched again recently was "The Faculty." It's been a few years but it was fucking awesome when it first came out and it's still fucking awesome. I can't think of many horror movies made after it that compare. "The Cave" was similar in theme, the whole parasite thing, but "The Faculty" is much more relatable and has much more memorable characters. It's also kind of a throw-back to older alien movies like "The Thing". You don't know who to trust. It has the same type of "test" to rat out aliens but it brings a more modern look at it. Instead of the alien protecting itself from fire it's protecting itself from being dried out, ie. drugs. The are a ton of actors I recognize, Famke Janssen was hot as both the insecure and confident Ms. Burke, Elijah Wood, the T2 Terminator Robert Patrick, Salma Hayek, Josh Hartnett before his career inexplicably went into the gutter, even Jon Stewart (who was great in a horror flick) makes an appearance. The soundtrack was good as well. All in all, modern take on an old story, very relatable, great actors, and great music. What else could you ask for? I think it still holds up as a great horror movie.

Just came in from 90 minutes of vigorous skating. With the heat index up to 105 today, I've only sweat more once in my life...nuuur, that was a great day shocked Anyway, the exercise is going well, every time I trudge back toward the house exhausted I feel like I must have lost 10lbs, or at least I better have! All that work for...

This will definitely be my most active summer yet. Usually I just hibernate in my room until the hot weather passes, but this year I will be mowing and weed wacking two houses weekly for some cash. With my diet about to be renewed along with some extra daily exercise, I gather this will also help me lose a ton of weight. Perhaps by the...

I am so worried and so pissed off, I can't even tell which is which anymore. My dog has worms coming out of his asshole. Obviously this is a serious matter and I have come to believe that it is why Alucard has not grown to his expected 150lbs and is only a meager 100lbs. I am really worried about him. I hope to...

I hope they get it all cleared up quickly for you two.
He'll definitely put on weight when they're taken care of.

broken_tsuba:

Thanks, I got him some dewormers. The vet said the worms won't inhibit his actual growth, just his weight. That's a load off of my mind. He's an awesome dog, and rightly named. When he rolls on his back and gets his stomach rubbed, his mouth flab relaxes just enough to show his fangs lol.

Well I received my Katana, needless to say, it's damn near perfect. I was going to give an in depth review of it but apparently no one wanted to hear it. Either way, it's fucking awesome and I am stoked to finally have a worthy Katana. Ironically, having the best one I can get a hold of gives me a strange appreciation for...

I spent a couple great days hanging out with my sis, brother-in-law, and their friends in Cary. Nerd Alert: I also got a ton of the new Magic the Gathering set: Avacyn Restored and am pretty stoked to try out my new deck. Nerd Overload: I should also be receiving my Ronin Katana tomorrow, which is a massive upgrade on the shitty but nice looking...

To all my female friends...One of my best friends is a chick, whenever I text her asking more than one question she only answers one at a time and it's usually the least important one. Ex. "How've you been, getting married anytime soon?" - "been good" or "When should I pick you up, are you at your brothers house?" - "9:30" I am...
