I'm kinda shocked that everyone's so impressed by my new profile photo. I thought it was funny more than anything else, but everyone's saying it's all sassy and sexy. Hey - I guess after my last photo, pretty much anything would be sexy.
So, it's Wednesday, which means Spinning! Hurrah. I'm running a Half Marathon in May, so I have to get a little...

I almost said that in that pic you look like Amanda LePore, then decided not to.
I had a couple hours to kill at work yesterday, so I responded to the journals of every single person on my list. Whew! It seemed to pay off, though - I had 21 responses when I logged on today! Super sweet.
I keep telling myself that I have to clean out my Friend List...but I don't have the heart. I'm such a wuss. Anyway...

Happy Tuesday, or early Wednesday...the internet is BACK, and I could just cream myself! Er...anyways...
LOVE your new profile pic. You sassy wench! All your pics are great, I could eat you up with a spoon. I am very impressed that you were able to send notes to all of us, so thoughtful.
Must be off...g'night!

I delete about one person a day from friends' list, but I add like two. It's a losing battle.
Wow, what a weekend. Thanks to EVERYONE for making it so kickass.
Mr. Wonderful took me to see Pretty Girls Make Graves this Saturday, and I was fucking FLOORED. Dan was right, I really dug them.
Ack, Mondays. I'm exhausted.

I'm having one of those "I'll never drink again" mornings, even though I know that I'll be drinking come sundown.
Ah, youth.
For those of you whom I met last night, but don't remember the names of - request my friendship already!
I'm harmless, really.
See y'all tonight.

Ya, I need to stop the pot on the weekdays too. Damn wake and bake, must stop.
Ok. Seriously. Why does the GOVERNMENT have ANYTHING to do with this?
And I don't consider myself to be any kind of political scholar, but how and why is Bush in ANY position of authority?
I don't mean to preach, and I generally don't pay any kind of attention to politics, but this bullshit really ruffles my feathers.
Anyfuck. It's Thursday, and I love Thursdays.

Why? Beacause we are a CHRISTIAN nation sister and as such we don't allow for none of them hoe-mo-sexuals to do none of their dirty bizness in this heear CHRISTIAN land. If we allow them to marry, then next thing you know all perversions of god's law will be upon us. Sex with children. Sex with foreign objects. Dogs and cats living together!
Bubba out.
Bubba out.

I can see that the people on SG are not very politically oriented. People's blood should be boiling over this invasion of personal privacy and attempted negation of state's rights.
The government is involved in people's personal lives for many reasons. Bush is not just pandering to the religious right with this statement. He has many interests in mind. For instance, think of all the tax dollars that will be lost by homosexuals being able to file joint tax returns. Seriously. There's also the problem of further abuses concerning citizenship. It's a tricky issue. However, the bottom line is that he's out and out addressing it as a religious and moral issue. This is theoretically idiotic because no church that believes homosexuality is amoral would wed two people of the same sex anyhow. If Bush is so worried about the definition of the union in the eyes of God, he need not fear, as his god isn't going to recognize the marriage. However, the government should legally recognize two taxpaying citizens commitment to one another without making it a religious issue, seeing as there is a division of church and state clause in the Constitution.
There are a whole bunch of books on our newly purchased bookshelves that will explain to you why Bush is currently our President and why we're not going to be able to get rid of him.
With that, SG kids: Get the fuck out there and fucking vote!!!

Yeah, so in case the $650 Dan and I spent this past Saturday WASN'T ENOUGH, we decided to spring for a new bed and a new TV yesterday.
Just who do we think we are?
I'd better become rich and famous REALLY SOON.

Sweet Jesus.
So my Old Man and I, in all our domestic glory, spent a whopping $650 in a matter of 5 hours this past Saturday. Don't ask me where that money's gonna come from. We got shelves at IKEA, groceries and other sundries in bulk at Costco, and the remainder of our gourmet groceries at Fairway. Then we loaded up the...
