SNOWPOCALYPSE!!!!
My god I have never seen this much snow in Portland in my life. Seriously. Not even close. I would say a good 16o to 20 inches of snow has fallen at my house and I am basically AT SEA LEVEL!!! Ok not really but I do not live in the hills around here.
There are three places around my house that really sum...

Happy Holidays!

Stupid Facebook consuming all my social networking time. Then there is my blog that I "used to" post to. Gah.... I knew this would happen. When I get on something like that I just have to figure it all out. But with the format it is in and all the applications it is taking me awhile to get my head around it all.

I did finish it! i have the luxury of being unemployed so it was my job for about 2 weeks.
and yes, that 2001-esque (the film, not the year) wheel of death was really aggravating. i didn't play for a whole day i was so frustrated. the same thing happened to me earlier on those multi-wheel walls in the japanese level. at least the music was soothing on those.

Well the ultrasound tech was wrapping up and I joked "okay, so there are no tumors or alien babies growing inside me?" to which he responded with "no, everything looked pretty normal except for your liver"
.
I guess that's good. If I need a new liver I can get one since the rest of my shit is still good.
All kidding aside, I don't know what that means at this point. I suppose I should be relieved.
What are your plans this weekend? I'm thinking of taking the kids to a movie at Kennedy school Saturday afternoon. Are you and your lady free?

I've been debating joining Facebook, but have resisted since I barely use Myspace, and it seems like almost the same thing. One of these days I'll probably cave and join anyway.
What a great day. Thanksgiving came off without a hitch (Of course after hosting it 8 years in a row you would think I have this down now.. and I do) no family squabbles, no fights, disagreements. Nope, the worst thing that happened was when my 7 year old niece decided to try to feed Mr. Snuffy some turkey (my orange tabby cat who thinks...

Good thing the guy had such a good sense of humor.
When I hear "wang" I think of that montage at the end of the second Austin Powers, remember all that? The dick references?

How fun! Sounds like the perfect Thanksgiving.
You needed the drama of the scratch.

Wow. Well, thanks for reading all of that and thanks for sharing your story. It means a lot.

I always got the "Best of" Jenna tapes... the ones with just the action and none of that other silly stuff and she was okay. Although there was one with another girl and they had clown face paint on that still haunts me.
But yeah, I used to love me some Jenna. Then again, I've got some pretty interesting stuff so it takes a lot to gross me out. My friend who went to Mexico with us scarred me for life with this one that involved some sort of ass ratchet. Seriously. I told her I'm going to get her back for that one, I'm still haunted by seeing that!

Holidays are sneaking up on me...
Every year they just sneak up on me and it feels the same this year. Thanksgiving on the way, Christmas commercials and music in stores already? It is on a roll. I have so much to get ready for Thanksgiving and the Oregon Civil War college game day that will be hosted at my place the same weekend. Sheesh....

I worded that wrong in my journal. A lot people think he is gay, I guess. I don't. But because he is a private person everyone assumes he must be.

It only got up to 45 degrees today. I can now officially start bitching about the cold.
Snow is just around the corner. I can feel it!
Sounds like Portland is back to its old, soggy self. Bet you're wishing you were back in Cabo about now, eh?
Yeah, when it comes to Louie's health, I tend to assume the worst. I'm a paranoid, overprotective parent. *sigh*
And how's that dear Mr. Snuffy been doing?
PS: I think he might dig the video I've got up in my blog, too.

Whew... what a vacation. It was adventures galore, it if was not one thing it was another. We learned a lot of "Cabo Lessons" so will be more prepared on the next trip. But other than a few missteps here and there we had a fantastic time. Our room reservation was screwed up so they upgraded us to a Junior Suite. There are only 10...

OH and get this... we just got back from 10 days in Cabo too. We stayed at Casa Dorada which is only 6 months old. I had an amazing time and was tempted to go to that pimp and ho (don't laugh) party at the Melia but decided that I had better things to do with $600USD than take the hubby to something like that.
I only spent three days in the sun and the rest was finding shade and drinking far too early in the morning. When I got back my daughter asked me why I am not brown anymore because now I look like a black person. Too funny! I didn't take photos of my trip but our traveling companions did so I'll post them when I get them. All the ones I took were either odd, unflattering, or obscene.

As long as you voted. That is what is important.
VACATION!
Woo Hoo.
Much to do, off to the airport at 2:45am tonight. But will arrive nice and early and have the full day in front of me. I have not had a real vacation in about 4 years so I am very much looking forward to this one.
