Oh man yesterday was a verrrrry long day. Good day but long. Started out with a group of friends at the Beer Festival at noon.
Departed from there about 6pm and joined another group of friends out for a going away party. I was duly filled with beer and sausages and immediately started drinking again with this new set of friends. Sheesh.. they were all...

Man, I have so many nicks, it's pretty easy for me to differentiate when people talk to me... I Don't even have a nametag, but I'm required to introduce myself (particularly when the manager's around &'ll get on my ass if I don't)... yaaar, I hate being friendly beyond civil decorum to customers. Grrrr!
This afternoon/evening was perfect. I forgot how much I loved just sitting in the park and reading my book with the only thing around the sound of the wind through the tree's.
It was a perfect evening.
It was a perfect evening.

Aww thanks for the offer
And I've been buying Johnny movies like crazy now lately, well along with the vampire movies! Someone needs to send me to movie-aholics anonymous or something
Well what to say. Ahhh I know. I have been thinking for a long time about getting my first ink. I suspect the first of a few but my first none the less. I always knew it would be difficult to think of what I would want to have on my flesh for the rest of my life. But after a year of thinking on...

Perhaps we could enforce an age range, rather than a limit, thus keeping the 19-year-olds at bay .

Watchmen's an awesome book -- I see you like Kavalier & Clay so you may like it. It's this comic book, but it's a lot more (well besides the common 'graphic novel' designation)... it's an elaborate deconstruction of the comic book genre, an examination of good and evil, the concept of a nonlinear time, a condemnation of 'the ends justify the means' mentality... and like I said, one of the characters looks just like my ex, which is creepy. Features one of the coolest 'superheroes' ever, Rorsach, and book 5 is completely symmetrical (the first page & last page are reflective in terms of form & content, etc)... damn, just read it yo. See, cool fangirls like it.
Time or a new journal entry. Hmmmm... so much been going on but so little to say?
How the hell does that happen? Perhaps I just feel a bit overwhelmed by it all.
When out with a good old friend last night. Dinner/Drinks and idle flirtation all evening. Lots of fun but sooooo tired today.
Tomorrow the boys come over for Poker night. I better...

sometimes it's better to buy a new car then to try and fix an old one up. what type of cars are you looking into? i don't even have a license, but i have a mini cooper obsession.
we have an exterminator come to my house once a month. i'm not sure he actually does anything. god i hate bugs.
works sucks. it's not even much cash in the pocket. just barely over minimum wage, but it's something.
good luck with the car.

Money making, sausage slinging and church. What more could a girl want?
I was actually hired by my friend's uncle to chop veggies for the sausage so it's really not a "charity" event. That's what the bingo is for. It'll be good times.
Want to celebrate your personal/spiritaul/conscious freedoms?
Then go read a bit about Martin Luther. It was his revolution that led to the seeking of these freedoms and ultimately led to the founding of this country by those seeking those freedoms in the 1600's.
On another note. A friend of a friend is opening a new club in PDX. Called Voodoo Lounge. And tonight is the...

Remember that time on the Simpsons when Lisa created a microcosm-world and she also created Lutherans? That was awesome.
The SFX of the Hulk were pretty good, but the plot = meh. However, if you'd like to see a god example of a transition of the comic book style to the film medium, it's coo'. But yeah, foraward through the exposition. Poop!

3rd day into my 7 day oncall rotation and so far so good.
only one 2am call and it was readily solved. whew.. dodged the 2am bullet.
Tonight after work, screw it I am going hiking up in the forest behind my house. No phone signal but I won't be gone long I will take the risk. Of course if they do call and I...

Oh man the cursed week has arrived.
I hate being on call for work. I mean I am on call for my normal duties 24/7 anyway.
but it is different I have that stuff down. They call me I know the problem I fix it end of story. Now sometimes that fix may take me 18 hours but I am in my element. I just...

Dang, I won't complain about my job anymore...it is too easy!
Yeah, Axis and Allies is so fun...everyone thinks I'm talking about the computer game...but I like the old school board game....boards games are so forgotten! It really is hard to win as Germany....everything you have is so concentrated in such a tiny space...it is easy to loose everything in a few battles....

ugh - I hate on-call jobs. I wouldn't have the slightest clue how to deal with something like that though...
Whatever your plans today I hope you enjoy your holiday.
Oh man I so do not have any motivation at work this week... hmmm come to think of it just like last week.
Budget battles have sucked the soul out of me.
I have got to get back to my writing and get out of this place. Either that or back to being a bartender. Hmmm... oh well it all seems so much better in...

Hey, thanks for sharing further ideas about my education. Since Bristol was my 5th choice I hadn't considered it seriously....but now that you mentioned it...hmm....it got my gears spinning....
I just have to ask you...My second choice is Reading which is AI with Cybernetics. According to the definition on their website, Cybernetics is focused on the relationship between technology and humans and how they influence each other. It is a unique course. Do you think it's too focused?
My 3rd is Huddersfield which is AI with Multimedia. So I would be learning Flash, Video, Audio and...that's really fun and interesting too.
I haven't gotten a reply from them yet...I don't know...any further thoughts for me?

What a day, what a party last night. My buddy rented out this cool restuarant in town for a private party. Today? Hangover from hell.
but better now.
Good times.. good friend... good music... free food and free drink. What is not to like and all at one of my favorite spots in town! Saucebox....
Okay gotta run.

Hey wow, I didn't know you'd spent time there. You think I should be wary of Reading....I've gotten so many comments that Reading is really not a place to have a life while studying. Is there anything more you can tell me about the other choices?
Here they are again: Huddersfield, Birmingham, Bristol, Sussex.
Huddersfield actually combines AI with Multimedia. Unique cobination.
Briminghm offers the same as Edinburgh. AI with Philosophy....so I had a thought maybe go to Birmingham first....if they accept me and then try to transfer. I might not lose a year doing that.
Bristol was AI with Sociology. Doesn't sound quite so good now.
Sussex was the total nerdy backup choice. AI with Computer Science.
The reason why I'm considering Reading is because they are offering a pretty unique course too: AI with Cybernetics. Only one of it's kind.
Well, we'll see who says yes... I may end up lucky enough to have my choice made for me. And then I can move on with it...
