I don't know what to do about the debt collectors. I am kind of torn. Part of me does feel like just paying it, since I really, really don't want to have any bruises on my credit report. But the stubborn part of me doesn't want to pay it, because I KNOW i don't owe them any money!! I guess I'll just wait for now, because I stated my case to the lady, and she was supposed to contact the apartment manager and get back to me. So we'll see what she has to say.

Yes, the kids and all the other stuff definitely make it more complicated, because we have to deal with their heartache too......but doesn't make it any more painful than what you are going through. When your heart is hurting, it just sucks ass, no matter what.

I think you are absolutely right. I think we all go through phases in our lives where we need very different things....sometimes we need a serious relationship, sometimes, we need a good friend, sometimes we need someone to help take our minds off of someone else that has hurt us. I think the conflicting part is finding someone who needs that same thing.
