Well...the morning show got 86'd out of the school's rotation as did my Tuesday/Thursday shifts. I'm now on air as per the old schedule...every Wednesday morning from 8am to noon. I train 2 new people this Wednesday. Should be fun!
The internships are going well. One is for a show called The Clubzone with DJ Greg Mack and can be found at this link. It's a techno/dance show and I'm helping with all of the station promos and liners and stuff. It's Tuesday nights from 8pm to 10pm so check it out if you can.
The other is for ESPN 850 WKNR. It's the top sports station in the city. I'm having a lot of fun there. I've done call-screening, promotions, editing,and even helped produce the morning show last Saturday. I'm having a lot of fun and meeting a lot of cool people doing it. Case in point: I talked to Bernie Kosar (former Cleveland Browns QB) last Saturday on the phone. Twice. He called me, "Bro". How cool is that??? I love it!!
As far as the home front goes...well...I'm still alive, so I suppose that counts for something. Still don't have a job, still don't have a car, and I'm still on my buddy's couch too. I'm having some other issues as well that I'm just not going to get into now.
How is it possible to have everything and nothing all at the same time?
