Hey everybody! I hope you all had a fantastic New Year's. For once, I actually went out for New Year's Eve. Past holidays have included me sitting around doing a whole lot of nothing with people that I didn't really care about. Although my girlfriend and I were dating on New Year's Eve of 2006, I spent that holiday 4000 miles away from her. So this marked our first New Year's together and it was easily the best New Year's ever for me. We went bowling at a local alley that was holding a special New Year's party and had an absolute blast. My scores were inconsistant at best and hers were...well...not so good, but we had the time of our lives doing it. I absolutely loved ringing in the New Year with her.

We got blasted with a snowstorm on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning, so school was delayed for 2 hours which meant my show was delayed for 2 hours. It was like the ice planet Hoth. I got on-air at about 9:45am and it went well. I'm waiting for an answer on Monday, but there's a good chance I'll be picking up 2 more on-air shifts. They would be Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8am to 10am. Cross your fingers!! I actually did an extra shift this morning from 8am to 10am just because it was open. My girlfriend tagged along this week so she got a great behind the scenes look at what I do there. She's pretty proud of me and very good at stroking my ego, so it was great having her there!!

Class went well this week also. I have my TV terminology test on Monday and we're filming our 10 minute newscast on Tuesday. Should be interesting...
