Resolutions... not as much fun as Revolutions but good all the same.
I say this every year, but this year I'm going to put a full length LP out....
So, in annual poke around my computer files, I unearthed some of these songs that I've done in the last 2 years, that may make it on to this so called LP of mine, which probably won't be out before The Gunners Chinese Democracy. I've posted these on here before (I think) but they were on a now dead server..
I'm not sure if it's going to be an ambient electronica-rock fusion or an acoustic one yet so thats why these songs all have quite a different feel to them.
Anyway, have a listen (They need headphones as the is a bit of movement in them and they aren't mastered.)
**WARNING... files range from 2mb to 7mb**
A Place to Hide
An electronic "Thom Yorke" sounding track written in 2005. Eclectic drum patterns and reverbing vocals over a piano sound (bear with this song... the start goes for over a minute before I start to sing! )
Amongst the Flowers
A one take vocal and guitar tune with a guitar overdub at the start... written in early 2006. I tried to write a happy song... I can't!
The Middle Step
Another electronic one... no vocals, appeared as an intro to a friends short film... Written in 2005. I'd like to add some guitar and vocals to it.
Simple Picture for a Simple Plan
yet another electronic one... no vocals, appeared in the same friend's other short film... Written in 2005. I'd like to add some guitar and vocals to it as well.
Anyways, give me some feedback.. I need inspiration and critques to get my shit together
