thanks to renna & frost for the comments on my last blog. these women rock.
i am getting over the bronchitis and am feeling a lot better - thanks for all the get well wishes!

i have been to lunch with my daughter the last two days. it's been great spending time with her. adult children don't spend enormous amounts of time with their parents and i'm greatful for the time we share.
my wife tries to accuse me of wanting to play the good parent. she forgets sometimes mother/daughter
relationships are different than father/daughter. as i do sometimes.

if it doesn't rain this weekend - i am going to october fest and have a brat and a beer. i also feel the need to
burn some beef.
