Well, you've affirmed part one of my theory, but I was kind of more interested in the possibilities of part two. It makes logical sense that a country's GNP would relate to its participation in such an expensive venture.
I watched The Karate Kid for the zillionth time the other day. I'm convinced that there has never been another movie that was so brilliant and terrible at the same time.
The only thing that comes close is the original Star Wars movies. Sadly the Karate Kid sequels (and the Star Wars prequels) lost the brilliance but kept the terribleness.

i think the purpose of the cross burning was simply to bring fear to the people targeted by the hate... its more of a symbol of the hate to come.. if that makes sence.. and no it makes no sence coming froma group that called themselves christians... but does anything they have done make sence? oh.. and... i dont think most christians would consider that a christian act... every religion has its extremists.. unfortunatly.. anyway ya.. sorry for ranting lol..
