Hello everyone...Well last weekend I played in a cover show. We covered Mindless self indulgence. A few days before the show more than half the bands canceled last minute. The first night there was only 5 bands now playing there were 7 in total. We originally only playing the first night but since we heard that there was only 3 bands out of 7 or 8 playing,so we asked if we could do both nights and the guy putting on the show said yes. the first night went great..I only messed up a little bit but no one noticed. My family came to see it and I was kind of scared that my dad was there because he has been in several bands and has made it really far. I guess I really wanted to impress him. A lot of people really liked our set and my dad thought it was very different but good. The first night was over, now it was time to prepare for the surprise mystery band. Well on the second night the Slipknot cover band was going to play but they backed out, so we decided to dress up as Slipknot, play one song of theirs then start playing MSI (Tornado). I was really scared that people were going to get pissed off and boo us off stage. All these random people believed that we were covering Slipknot...so our plan worked well. We really went all out, we had the masks that we all made ourselves (arts and crafts night) and all had matching coveralls. People loved seeing us cover MSI because the first night not alot of people were there and alot of people missed us. They were shocked when we started to MSI but loved it. All in all it was a great night we all made $20 bucks for playing. I'm happy its over but I really liked being on stage and getting people hyper. We did take a video of both nights, I believe it will be going on youtube soon. The songs that we covered were: Tight, J, Tornado, Kill the rock, Pussy all night, Issues, Shut me up, Ready for love, Bitches and Faggot. Here are some pictures from the show:
