My parents don't give me too much crap about the way I look, and I thought they were okay with it all until they held an "intervention" for me over the summer...it was really weird. Their biggest concern was my mental health (mostly because of the scarification) but they were also worried about "alienating myself from society" blah blah blah...um yeah both my parents are psychologists. Anyway the weirdest part of it all was seeing them both in the same room, and my mom actually ended up getting mad at my dad and storming out, and I was like umm dad we never really reached what the point of all this was -- and he was like oh, uh, well, we just don't want you to do it anymore, okay? And I was like uhh okay.
I've gotten I think 5 tattoos and 5 piercings since then....
Oh well. What they don't know won't hurt them.
Oh and my dad wanted this to include me not gauging my ears further, but since then I've gone from 00g to 3/4" and he hasn't even noticed. Heh.
