i don't know about you guys, but i think it was awesome that the candidates kept agreeing on how different they were during the debate. i liked that for once, they were reinforcing their own opinions (for the most part) and stating flat out that the other person was wrong.
i think kerry came off pretty well tonight, he had a slow start, it looked like bush was gonna kick his ass, but then, a half-hour into it, we realize that bush does not intend to make any NEW points for the remainder of the debate. finally, after a whole fucking hour, kerry just opens his reply by pointing out that bush is telling fibs. awesome. its about time.
i honestly hate both candidates, but i really want to see kerry win at this point.
i think watching george bush fidget in front of a camera for an hour and a half should be all of the proof anyone in this country needs to vote him out of office. if you vote for george bush, you have brain damage. you honestly have trouble making a decision.
of course, if you vote for kerry thinking he's gonna do anything he said he'd do during the debate, then, your also slightly damaged, but at least you mean well.
if you vote for bush, you just have a soft spot in your heart for less-than-brilliant southerner's who refuse to admit that they are capable of making mistakes and refuse to analyze a situtation they are currently acting in with massive, negative global consequences.
i don't believe in kerry, but, i'll tell ya, he sounded a lot better than al gore. gore and bush didn't debate so much as continually agree with one another. although, i'm sure if gore was running during now, with all of this heavy iraq shit on the agenda, his democrat-leader puppet masters would have him saying many of the things that kerry said.
and here i am, being cynical again... this totally started out as a pro-kerry entry. but now, not so much.
like i've said many times, democrats and republicans are all rich politicians, fuck 'em. they aren't looking out for you and me.
at least if we get bush out of office we'll have a president who believes in science, and that is most certainly a step in the right direction.

in more important news, dancing was pretty good last night, i feel like i got a pretty good workout, which is important, because i can't afford to go to muay thai kickboxing classes yet and dancing is my only workout (that and walking everywhere).
i hitched a ride home with TheFullNelson who is a pretty cool cat if you haven't run into him yet in the real world. its nice every now and then to have someone to geek-out on the ins and outs of professional wrestling with me. we got together a week or so ago to eat pizza and watch hardcore japanese wrestling. fuckin' rad. we've got more planned.
today, i listened to CURSIVE's album UGLY ORGAN for about the third or fourth time since GentlemanCaller burned it for me, and suddenly, today, it hit me square in the nuts with the unrelenting thrust of a steel-tipped boot. now THAT is a band full of musicians. what a rigtheous album. thanks mike.
lots of girl stuff to think about this weekend. i miss the ex a lot these last few days (and by that, i mean the most recent ex) and i have been thinking negatively about the ex as well (and by that, i mean the heartbreaker ex). i may have some sort of pseudo-date tomorrow night, but she has a boyfriend and i miss an assortment of my ex-girlfriends, so i have no idea what it will really be. she's pretty funny on the phone though, so maybe something crazy will happen and we'll just hang out and have fun. whoa!
thats all for now, have a good weekend.

I love it!
I haven't seen the debate yet, I was super ill when it was on. Nice to have a summery of it though, thanks.
That's pretty suprising what you wrote in my journal. YOU passed out from giving blood? Madness! I felt like such an idiot, thought it was because I was a little girl. It certianly wasn't because I was scared or anything, I suppose I'm just prone to headrushes, and when I got up it was just too much for my body to handle.
I got my little blood doner card back today I'm AB RH Positive. Horray! I've always wanted to know that!
i'm glad you're digging the album... it is THE best break up album ever... unfortunately mine broke in my gym bag so i need to get another copy and i fucking need it
