sleepy as fuck its way past my bedtime going camping in a few hours plaingurl is gonna be here in a few hours for us to go meet curlyoxide and if i am still asleep (like last time) i'm gonna be dealing with 5 odd feet of pissed-off poet girl. i spent the last few hours working on a flyer for a horror-movie-slumber-party i'm throwing this month. no pressure design, just a goofy flyer with pictures from the movies i'm gonna show, i can't even describe how awesome working on that layout was. i fucking love graphic problem solving. i've had it up to here (raises hand to eyebrows) with fucking marketing and web development, i'm a fucking graphic arts god, not a businessman!

calm down. necessary evils. build future. draw comics for ever. not gonna go out like a light weight. not gonna be the guy who's comic gets made fun of at New England Comics by the half-asleep fucker with the punk rock vest on and an ink pen strategically positioned in everyone of his pockets.

i hit the comic store today and it was lame. best looking new comic was a mother-fuckin HE-MAN comic. ICONS OF EVIL: MERMAN. the colors are gorgeous and the illustration (upon basic perusal) is top notch, fundamentally sound (though incredibly exxagerated anatomy)... the artist actually knows how to draw... too many fakers in comics. looked at the covers to the "ESSENTIAL" Marvel Comics reprint. The Secret Wars looked like shit. I have an old version of that trade with a Mike Zeck cover. Salvador Larrocca doesn't fucking know how to draw. if we ever meet, i'm gonna walk away from that talk with his blood on my knuckles.

i can't wait til i start publishing my shit. i'm just gonna threaten everyone who's a fucking lightweight and call people on it when they suck...

so as not to get to far into how much all comics suck...
